Joyce Evelyn Charles

    Joyce Evelyn Charles, age 69, passed away Monday, January 13, 2020 at her home in Jenkins, Ky.   Joyce was born on January 4, 1951 to her mother the late Virgie Francis Ratliff.  She was the wife of Mark Charles, a former cashier at Double Kwik, and a follower of Christ.     Along with her mother, Joyce was preceded in death by two daughters, Carol Ann Whitlock and Dea Maria Music, and one sister, Joanna Ratliff.      Joyce is survived by four daughters, Teresa Lynn Abbott, Rena Dean (Eddie) Abbott, Jessica Ellen Spruill, Lisa Renee (Aaron) Hibbert, and lots of adopted daughters, four sisters, Betty (Edwin) Eubank, Beckie (Willis) Estep, Vickie (William) Bennington, Robin (David) Blair, eight grandchildren, one great grandchild, and a host of loving family and friends.      There will be a celebration of Joyce's life on Thursday, January 16, 2020 at the Lucas & Son Funeral home from 5p.m. to 10p.m with Matt R. Pinion Jr. officiating.   In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Shriners.
