James C. "Jimmy" Justice Jr., age 71, born in Pikeville, Ky and resided in Dandridge, Tn, went to be with the Lord on July 23, 2025. Jimmy was a loving husband, father, grandfather, he was a Kentucky colonel and was respected in the community.
Jimmy spent almost 30 years working at Parkview Manor Nursing Home where he devoted his life to the residents and maintaining the facilities. He was more than just a familiar face, he was a source of comfort, stability, and compassion. Through nearly three decades of service, he witnessed many residents and families come and go, always offering a kind word, a helping hand, and unwavering care. Whether assisting with activities or simply sitting to share a story. Jimmy's presence brought warmth to those around him, his dedication wasn't just a job, it was a calling, and his infectious laugh and caring touched many.
He proceeded in death by his parents former State Representative James C. "Jim C" Justice and Jaqueline Wormsley Justice, and one sister, Denise Justice Adkins.
Jimmy was a devoted husband of 44 years, and survived by his loving wife, Melinda Adkins Justice; his three daughters, Staci (Mike) Taylor of Pikeville, Ky, Crystal Justice Trump of Dandridge, Tn, and Jessica Justice of Pikeville, Ky, six grandchildren, Jonathan (Hannah) Taylor, Cassie (Austin) Wright, Kyndra Trump, Peyton Knausz, Larkin Knausz, and Gunnar Mumford. Jimmy is survived by two brothers, Tommy (Judy) Justice, and Timmy (Bernie) Justice, and his loving mother-in-law Nada Adkins, and a host of loving host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
A celebration of life will be held at Lucas and Son Funeral Home in Pikeville, Ky on August 2, 2025, from 12noon to 2:00 pm. for family and friends
Burial will follow at the Annie E. Young cemetery at 3:00 pm.
