Jack Stewart

Jack Stewart, age 93, of Jenkins, Ky. passed away at his residence on November 11, 2022. Jack for born in Letcher County, Ky. on June 8, 1930, to his parents the late William Stewart and Delia Mullins Stewart. Jack was a member of the Pilgrim Rest Old Regular Baptist Church at Beefhide, Ky. Jack was retired from steel mining, but enjoyed his hobby of woodworking, he would build doll houses, bird houses and canes. Jack was the husband of the late Elsie Stewart. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, two brothers, Kernie and Bennie Stewart and two sisters, Bertha Stewart and Minerva Blevins and a son-in-law, Richard Slack. Jack is survived by a daughter, Barbara Ann Slack, a brother, Bernie (Betty) Stewart, Host of loving Nieces and Nephews, Great Nieces and Nephews, Great Great Nieces and Nephews, Great Great Great Nieces and Nephews and a Host of Loving friends. Visitation will be Monday, November 14, 2022, 6:00 PM at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home, with church services at 7:00 PM. Funeral will be Tuesday, November 15, 2022, 12 Noon, at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home, with Old Regular Baptist Ministers officiating. Burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery, Shelbiana, KY>
