Ida Keene

    Ida Mae Justice Keene, age 85, passed away Monday, Dec. 30, 2019 at the Rockcastle Health and Rehab Center in Broadhead, Ky.   She was born on Oct. 21, 1934 to her parents the late Noah Coleman and Nancy Thacker Coleman.  She was the wife of the late Bill Keene, a homemaker, and a member of the Owsley Freewill Baptist Church at Hurricane Creek.      Along with her husband and parents, Ida was preceded in death by three sons, Billy, Leroy, and James Michael Keene, and five sisters, Beulah Robinson, Bessie Howerton, Mary Coleman, Carrie Coleman, and Elizabeth Coleman.      Ida is survived by one son, Donnie Eugene (Kristy) Keene, one daughter, Linda (Terry) Billiter, one sister, Betty Lou Byers, fifteen grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, and a host of loving family and friends.     Visitation will be Wednesday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home.  Church services will be Wednesday and Thursday at 7p.m.  The funeral will be Friday, January 03, 2020 at 2p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Jimmy Jack Adkins and others officiating.  Burial will follow in the Johnson Memorial Park.
