Herman Wright

Herman "Buddy" Eugene Wright, age 76, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2021 at Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Center in Hazard, Ky. Herman was born on Sept. 25, 1944 to his parents the late Aster Wright and Lois Youngblood Wright. He was a retired auto worker for Ford Motor Company and he was of the Christian faith. Along with his parents, Herman was preceded in death by one son , Robert Shannon Little, three brothers, Gary Wright, Larry Wright, and Donnie Joe Wright, and two sisters, Anita Wright Parsons and Norma Jean Wright Newsome. Herman is survived by three children, Tammy Wright Sears (Carl), Timothy Wright, Norma Michelle Wright, one brother, Christopher Wright, two sisters, Diane White, Glenda Gaye Hall, eight grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Thursday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Thursday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Friday, February 26, 2021 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Nick Wright officiating. Burial will follow in the Mullins Cemetery at Booker Fork.
