In Loving Memory of Herman Douglas Coleman

Herman Douglas Coleman, affectionately known as "Doug", age 51, passed away on, Wednesday, October 28, 2026.

Born on May 28, 1975, Doug was the son of Herman Coleman and Patsy (Worrix) Coleman.  Doug is survived by his loving mother, Patsy Coleman; his companion, Christy Justice, his sister, Anita Justice, one niece, Amanda (Brian) Perry, two nephews, Brian Reese (Ashley) Little, and Keaton Justice, four aunts, Amy Smith, Opal James, Debbie Worrix, and Joyce Curry, along with many other beloved family members and friends.

He also leaves behind a very special child, who held a dear place in his heart, Carter J. Polly, whom he loved very much.

Doug will be remembered with love by those who knew him.  His passing leaves an emptiness in the hearts of his family, but the memories they shared with him will remain forever.

Though his journey on earth has ended, the love he leaves behind will never fade.  He will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever held close in the hearts of those who loved him.

Forever loved, never forgotten, and always in our hearts.

Visitation will be Friday, October 30, 2026, 6pm, at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home, this will be Visitation only Friday. Funeral service will Saturday, October 31, 2026, at 12 Noon, at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home, with Primitive Baptist Preachers officiating. begin at 7pm, with Primitive Baptist Preachers Officiating. Burial will follow at the Annie E. Young cemetery.
