Henry Dean Pennington

Henry D. Pennington, age 66, passed away, Wednesday, September 10, 2026, at his residence. Henry was born in Jenkins, Ky, to the late Palmer and Lola Fleming-Pennington. Henry was a retired gas well worker for Kentucky-West Virginia Gas company, and a believer of the Christian faith. Besides his parents, Henry was preceded in death by his wife, Sherry Finch Pennington. 

Henry is survived by his loving girlfriend, Melinda Kilgore, one daughter, Bridgett (Jarrod) Maynard, two brothers, Steve Pennington, Jeff (Tammy) Pennington, and one sister, Beverly (John) Clark. Henry was a loving father, neighbor, friend, and will be missed by all who knew him.

Visitation will be Friday September 11,2026, 6pm, at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home, Saturday September 12. 2026, 6pm, at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home.  Funeral will be Sunday, September 13, 2026, at 2:00PM, at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home, with Bro. Clinard Ratliff officiating. Burial will follow at the Annie E. Young Cemetery, Shelbiana, Ky.
