Helen Workman

Helen Deloris Davis Workman, age 70, passed away Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at the Bluegrass Health and Rehab Center in Lexington, Ky. Lois was born on April 13, 1953 to her parents the late Marion K. Davis and America (Merkie) New Davis. She was the wife of the late Dennis Workman, a homemaker, and a member of the Cornerstone Church. Along with her husband and parents, Lois was preceded in death by siblings, Geraldine Bluhm, Willard Davis, Andrew (Mary Lou) Davis, Marion (Sally) Jr. Davis, Bonnie (Amos) Davis Evans, infant brother, Harold Davis, one great grandchild, Sophia Grace. Lois is survived by two sons, Chris (Renee) Workman, Brian (Michelle) Workman, Grandchildren: Paige, Eric, Cacee, Josh, & Lexi, two great grandsons, Derek, Lance, siblings, Sylvia Davis (Malcolm) Damron, Maxine Davis (Don) Newman, several nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews, and a host of loving friends and family. Visitation will be Monday at 1p.m. at the Victory Christian Center in Lenore, West Virginia. The funeral will start at 2p.m. on Monday, June 5, 2023 at Victory Christian Center with Terry Joe Blankenship officiating. Burial will follow in the Winco Bottom Cemetery.
