Harry M. Sowards Jr., age 76, passed away Thursday, Sept. 26, 2024 at his home. He was born on August 8, 1948 to his parents the late Harry M. Sowards and Goldie Marie Pleasant Sowards. He was a retired employee for CSX Railroad Company and worked at Bizzack Construction, and he was a believer of the Christian Faith.
Along with his parents, Harry was preceded in death by one brother Jady Sowards.
Harry is survived by one son, Dawson (Madi Adkins) Chaney, three grandchildren, Embersyn Robinson, Riley Bronson, Molly Chaney, and a host of loving family and friends.
There will be a private family memorial service.
