Harold Curtis Chaney, 44, of the Pikeville community, who departed this life on June 2, 2026, at his residence. Born on January 16, 1982, in Pike County, Kentucky, Curtis' life was marked by dedication, love, and a strong commitment to both family and his passion for his craft.
Curtis' journey began in Pike County, where he was born and raised, He founded and successfully operated Roto Clear Plumbing Company in Valparasio, FL. His love of riding motorcycles, and his family and friends, brought him joy and a sense of freedom.
Curtis is survived by his wife, April Chaney, who stood by his side through life’s many moments, and two step-daughters; Lindsey and Jennifer Rooke. He was the loving son of Jackie Chaney, who continues to carry his memory forward, and the late Johnny Chaney, whose legacy Curtis cherished deeply. Curtis will be remembered fondly by his siblings: his brother John (Melissa) Chaney, shares in this profound loss; his sister Denise (Kip) Sanders, who have supported one another through this difficult time. Harold also leaves behind two nieces and two nephews, and Three grandchildren, who were a source of pride and affection throughout his life.
A visitation to honor Curtis' life will take place on Wednesday June 10, 2026, and Thursday June 11, 2026, beginning at 6PM, with special services starting at 7 on Thursday, Funeral will be Friday June 12, 2026 at 1PM.
