Goebel Zeller

Goebel Zeller, Age 86, of Regina, Ky, passed away peacefully on January 7, 2026, at his home in Regina Ky.  Goebel was born on February 6, 1939, to the late Curtis and Ozel Sanders-Zeller.  Goebel was a retired owner/operator of Faith Coal Sales, LLC.  Goebel received Jesus Christ as his savior in 1982, and became a minister of the Gospel in 1985, serving his Lord.  He devoted his life to helping others and was a member of the Blessed Hope Freewill Baptist Church.

Goebel was preceded in death by his loving wife, Essolene (Little) Zeller, one son, Tony Brent Zeller, one brother, Roger Zeller, and a sister, Brenda (Zeller) Ward.

 Goebel is survived by one son, Steven Ross Zeller, one daughter in law, Barbara (Thacker) Zeller, both of Regina, Ky, Four Grandsons, Jason (Nicole) Zeller of Delbarton, WV, Brandon (Kaitlyn) Zeller of Regina, Ky, Evan (Allison) Zeller of Durham, NC, and Logan Zeller of Georgetown, Ky. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren, Bentlee, Eli, Mia, Garrett, Emily, and Owen.

Goebel will be sadly missed by a host of friends and loved ones.

Visitation will be Friday, January 9, 2026, 6:00 PM, at the Lucas and Son funeral Home, with services beginning Friday and Saturday night at 7:00 PM, with Bro. Tommy England, Bro. Roger Ratliff, and Bro. Randy Bentley officiating.  Funeral service will be Sunday, 1:00 PM, at Lucas and Son Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at the Annie E. Young cemetery at Shelbiana, Ky.
