Glema Charles

Glema Adkins Charles, age 90, passed away Friday, Nov. 20, 2020 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Glema was born on March 17, 1930 to her parents the late Dorse Adkins and Georgia Thacker Adkins. She was the wife of the late George Junior "Red" Charles, a homemaker, and a member of the Little Creek Old Regular Baptist Church. Along with her husband and parents, Glema was preceded in death by two brothers, Chester Adkins and Robert Adkins, and one sister, Edyth Coleman. Glema is survived by two sons, Keith A. (Vicki) Charles, Ronald Jack (Debbie) Charles, one daughter, Judy Lynn Charles, two sisters, Myra Charles, Magdalene Hockett, four grandchildren, Jeremy Charles, James Charles, Amber Fritz, and Amanda Charles, six great grandchildren, Jacob, Jason, Joseph, Jeremiah, Jenson, and Cameron, and a host of loving family and friends. There will be a private family funeral
