Gladies Ann Bevins

Gladies Ann Bevins, age 77, of Meally, Ky., passed away on Thursday, June 10, 2021, at the Highlands ARH Regional Medical Center. Gladies was born in Pike County, Ky on February 3, 1944 to her parents the late, German Meade and Bertha Gibson Meade. Gladies was the wife of the late Robert Bevins. She was a retired foreman for the Eastman Kodak Company. Gladies was of the Baptist Faith. Gladies was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, two brothers, Eugene Meade, Junior Meade, two sisters, Glendale Adkins, and Garnett Meade. Gladies is survived by one son, Bobby Bevins, two grandchildren, Michael Bevins, Kimberly Bevins, four grandchildren and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Monday, June 14, 2021, at 4:00 PM at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home. Funeral will be Tuesday, June 15, 2021, at 11:00 AM at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home, with Clay Wheeler officiating. Burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery, Shelbiana, Ky.
