Gary Gene Weddington

Gary Gene Weddington age 76, passed away Friday, January 29, 2021 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Gary was born June 19, 1944 to Lakie Weddington.. He is the husband of Marie Weddington. Gary was the owner/operator of Weddington Sales and Service and was a member, deacon, and Sunday School Teacher of the Gulnare Freewill Baptist Church. Along with his mother, Gary was preceded in death by his brothers Ricky Weddington, and Kenneth Weddington. Gary is survived by his wife Marie Weddington, two daughters: Kim Weddington (Bruce Lucas) of Pikeville, KY and Teresa Weddington (Millissa Pullins) of Harold, KY and one special daughter in his heart Brandy Brown of Pikeville, KY. Four grandchildren: Chessa Adams, Kyler Robinson, Halle Robinson, and Jace Thornsberry as well as a host of loving friends. Visitation will be Monday February 1, 2021 6:00 p.m. at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home. Special services will begin at 7 p.m. Funeral services will be Tuesday February 2, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home with Stacy Stepp officiating. Burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery
