Gary Dale Smith

Gary Dale Milton Smith, age 63, passed away Friday, July 5, 2024, at the Pikeville Medical Center. He was born on September 8, 1960, to his parents the late Henry Preston and Myrtle Ruth Thacker Smith. Gary was a retired Insurance Adjuster for Nationwide Insurance Company and a member of the Sutton Baptist Church. 

Gary is survived by one son, Gary Thomas (Claire Eder) Smith, one daughter, Bethany Smith, one brother Michael Preston (Dee) Smith, one sister Lisa Michelle (Kirby) Smith, and a host of loving family and friends. 

Visitation will be Monday, July 8, 2024, beginning at 6:00 PM at the Sutton Baptist Church, Greasy Creek, KY with church services beginning at 7:00 PM. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at 12:00 PM at the Sutton Baptist Church with Tony Wakeland officiating.  Burial will follow at Annie E. Young Cemetery, Shelbiana, KY.
