Gary Blaine Johnson

Gary Blaine Johnson, age 72, of Jenkins, Kentucky, passed away on January 8, 2021, at the Whitesburg ARH Hospital. Gary was born in Pike County, Ky on July 7, 1948, to his parents the late James Melvin Johnson and Regeana Addington Johnson. Gary was retired from Commonwealth Builders. He was preceded by his parents, one great grandchild, Colton Tackett; two sisters, Adell Compton and Anita Osborne. Gary is survived by one son, Ronnie Johnson (Brenda Bevins), three daughters, Regina (Garrett) Tackett, Sandy (John) Wyatt, Misty (Brandon) Goff. Gary is survived by several brothers and sisters, Larry (Birdie) Johnson, Gail Johnson, Roland (Judy) Johnson, Freddie (Yvonne) Johnson, Mike (Sharon) Johnson, John Paul (Linda) Johnson, Lyndon (Kim) Johnson, Clinton (Tammy) Johnson, Valerie (Don) Williams, a host of grandkids and great grandkids, and loving family and friends. Visitation will be at the Pilgrim Rest Old Regular Baptist Church, Sunday, January 10, 2021, after 6:00 PM. Funeral services will be at the Pilgrim Rest Old Regular Baptist Church, Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at 1:00 PM with Old Regular Baptist officiating. Burial will follow in the Johnson Family Cemetery, Brushy Fork of Beefhide.
