Gary Coleman

Gary W. Coleman, age 68, passed away Monday, January 24, 2022 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Gary was born on March 13, 1953 to his parents the late Ellis Coleman and Lola Brewer Coleman. Gary was the husband of Hilda Damron Coleman, a retired service technician for AT&T Phone Company, and a believer of the freewill baptist faith. Along with his parents, Gary was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. Along with his wife, Hilda, Gary is survived by two sons, Gary D. Coleman, Jason (Janelle) Coleman, four grandchildren, Austin Coleman, Adam Coleman, Alexis Compton, Da'Kota Compton, one sister, Wilma (Tom) Gooch, four brothers, Johnny (Gladys) Coleman, Larry Coleman, Danny Coleman, Dana (Debbie) Coleman, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Thursday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Thursday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Friday, January 28, 2022 at 12 noon at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with James Justice and others officiating. Burial will follow in the Coleman Cemtery at Robinson Creek.
