Everett Iricks

    Everett Iricks, age 79, passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at his home.  Everett was born on April 1, 1945 to his parents the late Richard Iricks and Jane Akers Iricks.  He was a retired coal miner.
     Along with his parents, Everett was preceded in death by three brothers, Leonard ,Harlan
 and Adron Iricks, and one daughter in law, Donna Marie Iricks.
     Everett is survived by four children, Angela (Jessie) Iricks, William Iricks, Jennifer (George) Thompson, Anthony Iricks, two sisters, Emma Fields, Garnet Rogers, six grandchildren, Brian, Allison, Michael, Nicholas, Blair, and Blake, and two great grandchildren, Isiah and Isabella, and a host of loving family and friends.
     Visitation will be Wednesday and Thursday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home.  The funeral will be Friday, April 5, 2024 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Luther Ray officiating.  Burial willl follow in the Akers and Iricks Cemetery at Island Creek.
