Estil Dean "Doc" Thacker

Estil Dean (Doc) Thacker, age 69, of Pikeville, Kentucky, passed away at his home on July 12 2019. Estil was born in Pike County, Ky on March 11, 1950 to his parents the late Estill Thacker and Mae Slone Thacker. Estil was a retired coal miner, electrician, and a member of the Church of Christ of Red Creek. Estil was the husband of Melville E. Lee Thacker. Estil was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Roger Thacker and Charles "Huck" Thacker. He is survived by his wife, two sons, Johnny Dean Thacker and Robert Ray Thacker.  Survived by two brothers, Phinis Thacker, Johnny Thacker (Donna) and one sister, Doris Huffman, one granddaughter, Alexis Paige Thacker and a host of loving nieces and nephews, family and friends. Visitation will be Sunday, July 14, 2019, 12:00 Noon at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be Sunday, July 14, 2019, 7:00 PM at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home with Joe Horn officiating.
