Ervin Estill Thacker

    Ervin Estill Thacker, age 70, passed away Thursday, June 12, 2025, at his home.  Ervin was born on March 2, 1955 to his parents the late Acy Thacker and Opal Coleman Thacker.  He was the husband of Kathy Sellards Thacker, a retired coal miner, for Sidney Coal Company, and a member of the Faith First Baptist Church.

     Along with his parents, Ervin was preceded in death by three brothers, Willie Thacker, Homer Thacker, James Arthur Thacker, and two sisters, Charleen Farmer and Ida Williamson.

     Along with his wife, Ervin is survived by three brothers, his twin, Andy Tom Thacker, Harold Thacker, Marvin Thacker, and three sisters, Eloise Farmer, Patricia Cameron, Mable Reiss, and a host of loving family and friends.

    Visitation will be Saturday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home.  Church services will be Saturday at 7p.m.  The funeral will be Sunday, June 15, 2025 at 1 P.M. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Terry Gibson and Tommy England officiating.  Burial will follow in the Dow Brooks Cemetery at Draffin.
