Emma Jean Amos

Emma Jean Grizzle Amos, age 72, passed away Monday, November 30, 2020 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Emma was born on Nov. 15, 1948 to her parents the late Hobert Grizzle and Myrtle Lockhart Grizzle. She was the wife of the late Arnold Amos, a retired school teacher for Buchanan County Schools, and a believer of the Christian faith. Along with her husband and parents, Emma was preceded in death by one sister, Betty Scott. Emma is survived by two daughters, Jennifer (Nick) Cross, Georgina (Buddy) Spence, two sisters, Martha Grizzle, Patty Thompson, five grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. There will be a private family funeral.
