Effie Griffith

Effie Belle Griffith age 84, passed away Friday, October 21, 2022, at the Pikeville Medical Center. Effie was born on June 28, 1938, in Bell County, Middlesboro, Kentucky to her parents the late Fred Daniels and Sarah Carmack Daniels. Effie was the widow of the late Harry Griffith. She was a member of the Pleasant Valley Church on Harolds' Branch and was retired from Jiffy's Cleaners in Pikeville. Effie was preceded in death by her husband, parents, a daughter, Nina Hall Robinette, a grandson, Ryan Wade Harris. She is survived by her daughter Donna Harris (Jimmy), a brother, Richard Daniels, three grandchildren, Misty Harris Ramey (Trent), Blake Harris, James Charles Hall (Andrea), four great grandchildren and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Monday, October 24, 2022, at 6:00 PM at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home. Funeral will be Tuesday, October 25, 2022, at 12:00 Noon, at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home with Bud Crum officiating. Burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery at Shelbiana, KY.
