Edna Bartley

Edna Mae Stewart Bartley, age 89, passed away Monday, November 8, 2021 at the Landmark of Elkhorn Nursing Home. Edna was born on May 14, 1932 to her parents the late Cleve Stewart and Della Fife Stewart. She was the wife of the late Dexter "Darrell" Bartley Jr., a retired county court clerk for 30 years and seven months, and a member of the Unity Freewill Baptist Church at Rockhouse. Along with her husband and parents, Edna was preceded in death by three brothers, Tom Stewart, Danny Gene Stewart, and Cleve Stewart Jr., and one grandchild, Brady Kyle Bartley. Edna is survived by one son, Darrell Dwayne (Jennifer) Bartley, one sister, Loretta Bartley, three grandchildren, Eric Dwayne (Meshala) Bartley, Jacob Darrell Bartley, Caden Reece Bartley, four great grandchildren, Bronx, Elin, Anniston, and Maisley, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Tuesday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Tuesday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2021 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Eric Bartley and Richard Gibson officiating. Burial will follow in the Stewart Family Cemetery.
