Edith Williams, 89, of Kimper, Kentucky, born on September 21, 1936, in Hill Station, Virginia, passed away on February 28, 2026.

Edith was preceded in death by her husband, George Truman Williams, and by her beloved children, Wesley Williams and Karen Lynn Williams. She also rejoins her parents, Herbert Starnes and Lizzie Ann Carter Starnes, as well as her siblings: Rosa May Starnes, Ida Virginia Starnes, Clinton Starnes, Howard Starnes, Wilburn Starnes, and Ellis Starnes.

She is survived by her son, George David Williams, and daughter, Rhonda (Donnie) Craft, as well as her ten grandchildren, Michael Coleman, Dustin Ratliff, Matthew Craft, Daniel Craft, Jason Williams, Eden Williams, Nathan Williams, Whitney Coleman, Kaitlyn Skeens, and Cameron Williams. Edith was great-grandmother to several beloved great-grandchildren.

Her family and friends are invited to pay their respects during visitation at Meta Baptist Church, located at 8807 Meta Hwy, Pikeville, KY 41501, on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The funeral service will be held at the same location on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, beginning at 12:00 PM with burial following in the Williams Family Cemetery.
