Eddie Casey

Eddie Casey, born on June 3, 1955, peacefully passed away on April 21, 2026, at Pikeville Medical Center. Eddie’s life was marked by dedication to his loved ones and the community, and his loss will be deeply felt by all who knew him.

He is lovingly remembered by his devoted wife, Daphene Casey, and their son, Shane Casey, along with Shane’s wife, Keesha. Eddie’s family was central to his life, and he cherished the time spent with them.

Eddie was preceded in death by his father, Ivel Casey, and his mother, Brooksie Justice Casey. He also mourns the loss of his siblings: Eloise Chapman and Geraldine Griffey, both sisters, and his brother, Roger Casey. Their memories remain an integral part of the legacy Eddie leaves behind.

Visitation for Eddie Casey will be held on April 27, 2026, after 6:00 PM at the Upper Grapevine Church of Christ with special services starting at 7 PM. The funeral service will follow on April 28, 2026, beginning at 1:00 PM  at the Upper Grapevine Church of Christ with Church of Christ Ministers officiating.  Burial will follow in the Justice Taylor Cemetery at Grapevine, KY.

In these moments of reflection and farewell, family, friends, and community members will gather to honor a man whose presence brought warmth and strength. Eddie Casey will be remembered with profound respect and gratitude for the life he led and the love he shared.
