Douglas Hunter

Douglas Hunter, age 53, passed away Thursday, March 28, 2019 at the Pikeville Medical Center.  Douglas was born on Feb. 18, 1966 to his parents the late Den Hunter and Geneva Hunter.  He was the husband of Rebecca Hunter, a truck driver, and a member of the Pilgrim Home Old Regular Baptist Church.      Along with his parents, Doug was preceded in death by one sister, Connie Porter, and one brother in law, Richard Porter, his beloved dog, Winnie.      Along with his wife, Douglas is survived by one daughter, Natasha Hunter, one son, Christopher (Jessica) Porter,, two sisters, Shelia (Billy Hall) Hunter, Betsy (Earl) Stanley, three grandchildren, Topanga Porter, Jaxon Porter, Dylan Porter, his beloved dog, Maggie, a host of loving family and friends.     Visitation will be Friday at 6p.m. at the Pilgrim Home Old Regular Baptist Church at Grethel.   Church services will be Friday and Saturday at 7p.m.  The funeral will be Sunday, March 31, 2019 at 1p.m. at the Pilgrim Home Old Regular Baptist Church with Old Regular Baptist Ministers officiating.  Burial will follow in the Gillespie & Hunter Cemetery at Harold, Ky.
