Demetra (Mitchie) Coleman

     Demetra (Mitchie) Coleman, age 63, passed away Monday, March 4, 2024 at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, Ky.  She was born on March 7, 1960 to her parents the late Elmer Coleman and Susie Jones Coleman.  Demetra was a homemaker and a believer of the Christian Faith.
     Along with her parents, Demetra was preceded in death by one sister:  Judy Robinson, and one niece, Jeana Coleman.
     Mitchie is survived by one brother, Jackie (Debbie) Coleman, two sisters, Teresa (Donald Ray) Davis, Connie (Kent) Cool, and a host of loving family and friends.
     Visitation will be Wednesday at 6p.m.at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home.  Church services will be Thursday at 7p.m.  The funeral will be Friday, March 8, 2024 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Michael Coleman, Donald Ray Davis, and others officiating.  Burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery at Shelbiana, Ky.
