Darl George

Darl George, age 79, of Booker Fork Rd, Caney Ky. passed away at his home on January 16, 2021, Saturday. Darl George was born in Pike County, Ky on August 4, 1941, to his parents the late Allen George and Mae Bartley George. Darl was a coalminer for many years, he was of the Baptist Faith. He was the husband of Willie Ann George. Darl was preceded in death by his parents, several brothers and sisters. Darl is survived by his wife, a son, Darl George,Jr., two daughters, Peggy May, Shirley Wright, (James). Survived by a brother, Danny George (Arlene), four sisters, Jerelene Cochran, Susie Reynolds, Linda Lou Hall, Joan Newsome. He is survived by six grandchildren, Larry Ryan, Heather, Matt, Steven, Brandi, Maria, two great grandchildren, Hadley, Harlow and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Sunday, January 17, 2021, 5:00 PM till 8:00 PM at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be a Private Graveside service.
