Daris Casey

Daris Casey, age 69 of Phyllis, KY passed away on Sunday September 6, 2020 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Daris was born in Pike County, Ky on September 18, 1950, to his parents the late Frank Casey and Molly Casey-Casey. Daris was a retired coal miner and a member of the Upper Grapevine Church of Christ. Daris was the husband of Linda Casey. Daris was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, Billy, Jackie Darrell, Frank,Jr., Ricky Casey, two sisters, Shelby Jean Robinson, Leatta Casey. Also two daughters, Roberta Worrix, Mary Hampton, a son, Chad Worrix. Daris is survived by his wife, Linda Casey, a daughter, Melissa "Missy" Wolford her husband, Chris. Survived by two brothers, Danny Casey, Terry Casey, three sisters, Irene Stell, Teresa Casey, Becky Smith. Daris survived by three grandchildren, Stephanie Pennisten, Sarah Marion, Shania Hampton, two great grandchildren, Serenity, Avalon and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Monday, September 7, 2020, 6:00 PM, at the Upper Grapevine Church of Christ, Phyllis, KY. Special music Monday and Tuesday nights at 7:00 PM. Funeral will be Wednesday, September 9, 2020 1:00 PM, at the Upper Grapevine Church of Christ with Dewayne Abshire officiating. Burial will follow in the Varney Cemetery at Phyllis, KY.
