Crystal Asher

    Crystal Gale Asher, age 40, passed away Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, Ky.  Crystal was born on Sept. 12, 1978 to her parents Boyd Newsome and Jackie Louise Herring Newsome.  She was the wife of the late Damon Asher, a homemaker, and a member of the Wheelwright Freewill Baptist Church.        Along with her husband, Crystal was preceded in death by one son, Shane Boyd.      Along with her parents, Crystal is survived by four daughters, Samantha Newsome, Jackie Miller, MaKayla Wiley, Daisy Newsome, four sisters, Star Hamilton, Mary Newsome, Tamatha Slone, Joy Jordan, four grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends.     Visitation will be Wednesday at 6p.m. at the Wheelwright Freewill Baptist Church.  Church services will be Wednesday at 7p.m.  The funeral will be Thursday, August 29, 2019 at 7p.m. at the Wheelwright Freewill Baptist Church with freewill Baptist ministers officiating.
