Claudie "Coonie" Little

Claudie "Coonie" Little, aged 69, of Pikeville, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on December 15, 2025, at the Pikeville Medical Center. Born on July 28, 1956, in Pikeville, he was the son of the late Joan Little and Claudie Little Sr.

Claudie leaves behind his cherished children, Joanna Nicole Little and Claudie Devern Little III, who will forever hold dear the loving memories created together. He was also a proud grandfather to his grandchildren, Brody Little Runyon and Ashton Looney.

In addition to his immediate family, Claudie is survived by his siblings, Roger Little, Cheryl (Larry) Kilgore Gilliam, Phyllis (Terry) Newsome, and Claudette (Terry) Pigg. He was preceded in death by his sister, Debbie Akers, who will be remembered alongside him in spirit.

Visitation will be held on December 18, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Poor Bottom Freewill Baptist Church located at 3786 Poor Bottom Road, Elkhorn City, KY 41522. The funeral service will take place the following day, December 19, 2025, at noon, also at the same location.
