Burma Jo Hopkins, 72, born on April 28, 1953, passed away on February 6, 2026, at the Pikeville Medical Center. She is survived by her daughters, Dana Hopkins and Haylee Hopkins, and her sisters, Carol Newsome and Patricia Slone. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Tiffani, David, and Matthew Clevinger, as well as four great-grandchildren, Wesley Hatfield, Ethan Clevinger, Logan Clevinger, and Dani Belcher.

Burma was preceded in death by her husband, Danny Hopkins, and her son, Wesley Hopkins.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the visitation held at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home located at 2931 US Highway 23 S, Pikeville, KY 41501, on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM. A funeral service will be conducted the following day, Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at the same location, starting at 1:00 PM, with burial following in the Annie E. Young Cemetery.

Burma Jo Hopkins will forever be remembered for the love that she spread to those around her. Her legacy lives on through her family, who continue to carry her values and warmth in their hearts.
