Burbon Junior Thacker

Burbon Junior Thacker, age 85, of Millard Highway, Pikeville, Ky, passed away at his residence on Sunday, November 3, 2019. Burbon was born on September 25, 1934, in Pike County, Ky to his parents the late Burbon Thacker, Sr. and Mercy Adkins Thacker. Burbon was a Service Station Operator for Thackers Gulf for many years and was a member of the Faith First Baptist Church at Jimmy's Creek. He is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Lunner Thacker, Haze Thacker, Thannel Thacker, three sisters, Carrie Kendrick, Martha Thacker and Betty Slone. Burbon Junior is survived by Michael Bingham, which was like a son, one brother, Karfa Thacker, two sisters, Lorraine Lawhorn and Mary Ann Thacker and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Monday, November 4, 2019, 6:00 PM at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home with services at 7:00 PM Funeral services will be Tuesday, November 5,2019, 1:00 PM at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home with Charles Justice and Randy Bentley officiating. Burial will follow in the Johnson Memorial Park, Pikeville, Ky.
