Bryan Thomas Childers

Bryan Thomas Childers (Bob), 60, passed away on October 1, 2026, at his residence. He was born on April 12, 1966, to the late Edwin and Pauline Childers.

Bryan will be remembered as a hardworking man who was self-employed in heating and cooling. Through his work, he served others with skill and dedication, building a life marked by steady effort and commitment. Bryan was also a member of the United Steelworkers 14581.

Bryan leaves behind his loving wife, Kim Childers who he loved dearly.

Bryan is survived by four children, Eddie Childers, Daniel Childers, Megan Branham and Lindsey Branham. He was also a proud grandfather to Keaton Branham, Braylin Branham, Kaleb Johnson, Zander Branham, and Zaiden Branham. He is also survived by his brother-in-law, Todd Clevinger; his nephew, Connor (Hailey) Clevinger; and his niece, Savannah (Jacob) Childers.

Bryan was preceded in death by his father, Edwin Childers; his mother, Pauline Bartley Childers; his granddaughter, Keira Branham; and his sisters, Edwina Oliver and Sabrina Clevinger.

Bryan will be fondly remembered by special friends Bobby and Christine Coleman, Tracy and Renee Coleman, and Jeff and Cassie Smith, as well as by his loving church family at Faith First Baptist Church. Their friendship, fellowship, and care were meaningful parts of his life.

Visitation will be held at Fatih First Baptist Church, 10678 Regina Belcher Highway, Elkhorn City, Kentucky 41522, beginning on October 3 and 4, 2026, at 6:00 PM, with services beginning nightly at 7:00 PM. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 5, 2026, beginning at 1:00 PM.  Burial will follow in the Coleman Cemetery at Marrowbone, KY.

Bryan’s memory will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and church family who knew and loved him.
