Bobby Andrew May

Bobby Andrew May, age 73, of Elkhorn City, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2026 at University of Kentucky Healthcare.  He was born on February 10, 1953, the son of the late Richard and Myrtle May.  In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by a son, Bobby Allen May and by two stepdaughters, Teresa Marie Coleman and Dakota Cheyenne Howell, and by his siblings, Paul May, Johnny May, Perry May, Danny May, Ruby Presley, Josephine Anderson and Linda Justice.

Bobby is survived by his wife Tammy Coleman May, by son, Richard May and was the devoted father of Sasha Didema May, who he hung the moon and stars for, by two stepsons, Christopher L. Coleman and Joshua Coleman who was very special to Bobby, by a sister Bonnie May Varney by seven grandchildren, ten step grandchildren, by seven great grandchildren and 5 step great grandchildren as well as numerous family and friends who loved him and will miss him dearly.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 5, 2026, after 6 PM at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be held on Monday at 1 PM at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in the Davidson Memorial Gardens at Ivel, KY.
