Billie Sue Compton

Billie Sue Derossett Compton, age 81, passed away Sunday, August 7,2022 at the Pikeville Medical Center. She was born on June 2, 1941 to her parents the late Bill Derossett and Ethel May Kinney Derossett. She was a retired clerk for 22 years for Rogers Petroleum and a believer of the Freewill baptist Faith. Along with her parents, Billie was preceded in death by one sister, Shirley Lindon. Billie is survived by one son, Richard "Rick" (Gina) Ray Jr., one daughter, Lisa (Darrell) Ratliff, one sister, Sandy (Ronnie) Sword, four grandchildren, Tyler Ray, Cassidy Ray, Keshia Edmonds, Corey Ratliff, four great grandchildren, Keean Edmonds and Grayson Ratliff, Maddox Edmonds, Kali Edmonds, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Tuesday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. The funeral will be Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at 12 noon at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Eric Bartley officiating. Burial will follow in the R.H. Ratliff Cemetery at Shelbiana, KY.
