Beverly Wright

Beverly Joyce Wright, age 92, passed away Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at her daughters home in Jeffersonville, Ky.  She was born on April 7, 1933 to her parents the late John Harrison Mullins and Vegie Johnson Mullins.  She was the wife of the late Coma Wright, a mother, grandmother, and homemaker.  She enjoyed sewing and made many quilts and she also enjoyed gardening.  She worked cooking and cleaning at a boarding house in her youth.  Beverly was a member of the Pentecostal Church of God.

     Along with her husband and parents, Beverly was preceded in death by one grandson, James Russell (Cooter) Webb, one great granddaughter, Molly LeeAnn Duty, four sisters and ten brothers.

     Beverly is survived by three daughters, Linda (James) Webb, Carol Prior, Elizabeth Ann Duty, two sons, Timothy Allen (Judy) Wright, Jimmy (Tammy) Wright, four sisters, Ella Ritenor, Rosie Gibson, Moreen Tolliver, Shirley Mullins, thirteen grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends.

     Visitation will be Friday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home.  The funeral will be Saturday, May 17, 2025 at 1P.M. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Greg Polly officiating.  Burial will follow in the McRoberts Cemetery in Letcher County.
