Betty Mullins Roberts

    Betty Mullins Roberts, age 87,  of Betsy Layne, Kentucky, formerly of Dorton, passed  away at the Martin County Health Care Facility on Sunday, November 24, 2024.   Betty was born the daughter of Gallie and Myrtle Osborne Mullins of Dorton, Kentucky on December 26, 1936.

     Betty was a homemaker and of the baptist faith.

     Betty is survived by her devoted and dedicated daughter and son-in-law, Gayle Roberts Collins (Ernie) of Stanville, her loving granddaughters Cara Collins Begley (Michael) of Inez and Chastity Collins Ray of Richmond, great-grandchildren Braeden and Landon, Nathan, Wesley, Emma, Jeremy, James, Christina, and Ali, as well as her sister, Melster Roberts and many nieces and nephews. 

Betty married Willis Roberts, January 10, 1955.  Willis passed away November 25, 2000.  Betty was also preceded in death by siblings; Chester Mullins, Virgil Mullins, Ira Mullins, Elster Mullins, Hazel Vanover, Adaree Estep, Martha Lea Adkins, and Shirley Mullins.

     Visitation will be Friday, Nov. 29, 2024 at 11 A.M. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home.  The funeral will begin Friday at 2p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Pastor Bill Staggs officiating.  Burial will follow in the Roberts Family Cemetery at Booker Fork.
