Barbara Sue Sword Tucker

Barbara Sue Sword Tucker, age 59, of Island Creek, passed away on January 24, 2020, at the Pikeville Medical Center.  Barbara was born in Pike County, KY to her parents Thelma Rogers Sword and the late Fred Sword.  Barbara was a believer of the Baptist Faith and she was disabled. She was the wife of Michael Wayne Tucker. Barbara was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Ashley Nicole Goodin, her father, one brother, Freddy Sword, Jr. Barbara is survived by her husband, her mother Thelma Rogers Sword, one sister, Brenda Watson her husband, Larry and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation for Barbara Sue will be Saturday, January 25, 2020, 6:00 PM at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Saturday and Sunday at 7:00 PM. at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Monday, January 27, 2020, at 11:00 AM at the Creekside Baptist Church on Island Creek. Burial will follow in the Sword Family Cemetery on Right Fork of Island Creek.
