Autom Thacker Mayo

Autom Thacker Mayo, age 84, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2022 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Autom was born on October 29, 1937 to her parents the late Troy Prater and Ethel Hunt Prater. Autom was the wife of the late Curtis Thacker, a caregiver for over twenty five years, and a member of the Red Creek Church of Christ. Along with her husband and parents, Autom was preceded in death by three sons, Curtis Stanley Thacker, Troy Bruce Thacker, Tracy Niel Thacker, four brothers, Tolbert Prater, Windell Prater, Orvert Prater, Arnold Prater, and two sisters, Jenny Spencer and Beatrice Prater. Autom is survived by one daughter, Regina (Eddie Dean) Thacker, four grandchildren, Stacy (Brandon) Newsome, Brandie Delight (Donnie) Bowling, Lacy Rhoton, Eddie Brandon (Rikki) Thacker, six great grandchildren, Matthew, Michael, Peyton, Brantley, Lilly, Alley, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Friday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Friday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Saturday, Feb. 12, 2022 at 2p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Phillip Powell, Jim Anderson, and others officiating. Burial will follow in the Thacker Cemetery at Red Creek, Ky.
