Shelby Jean Mullins

Shirly Mulins, age 71, passed away on Saturday March 22, 2008 at her residence. Shirley was born on Decemeber 30, 1936 to the late John and Violet Holifield Coleman. Shirley was a retired custodian for Amtrak of Norton, Va. And was a member of the Dorton Old Regualr Baptist Church. Along with her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by two sons, Audi Wade Mullins and Gary D. Mullins, three sisters, Celie Brown, Janie Coleman, and Honey Girl Coleman. Shirly is survived by her husband, andy Charles Mullins, one son, Andy Wayne Mullins of Fairfax, Va., two daughters, Cheryl Mullins of Dorton, Ky., Sheri Lynn Mullins of Fredericksburg, Va., eleven grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and a host of loving family and friends sho will miss her dearly. Visitation will be held after 6 p.m. on Sunday, March 24 at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Regular Baptist Ministers officiating. Burial will follow in the Wright Cemetery at Dorton. Special services will be held on Sunday and Monday nights at 7 p.m.
