James "Dog" Castle

James Millard "Dog" Castle age 53 passed away Sunday, Sept. 23, 2012 at the Pikeville Medical Center. James was born on August 11, 1959 to his parents the late Millard Castle and Ella Castle. He was the husband of Ruby Vanover Castle, a coal miner for Hubble Coal Company, a believer of the Baptist Faith, and he also served his country honorably in the U.S. Marines. Along with his wife, James is survived by one daughter, Destiny Castle, one brother, Lloyd Russell of Pikeville, five sisters, Sharon Lawson of Pikeville, Geona Castle of Pikeville, Anita Fitch of Justiceville, Mary Jo James of Louisa, Ky., Joleene Hutchens of Palestine, Texas, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Tuesday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Tuesday and Wednesday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Thursday, Sept. 27, 2012 at 12 Noon at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Danny Runyon and Duane Smith officiating. The burial will follow in the Castle Cemetery at Belcher, Ky.
