Mildred Coleman

Mildred Clevinger Coleman the cornerstone of the Clevinger/Coleman family passed away Sunday, Jly 24th, 2011. She was a woman of extraordinary strength. She resided at 3384 Marrowbone Creek Rd. Elkhorn City, Ky and more recently at 155 Winston Dr. Pikeville, Ky. Born Dec. 23rd to th elate Willie and polly Edwards Clevinger. She was the widow of Millard "Brud" Coleman Jr. who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her brothers; Marvin, Leeman, Darwin, and Billie Clevinger. Mildred is survived by her two daughters, Vicki Hopkins of Shelbiana,Ky and Marsha Ford of Tarpon Springs, Florida, by her son-in-law Paul Hopkins, her three granddaughters, Polly Hopkins, Courtney Ford, and Ali Ford, her nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family of the Cedar Creek Assisted Living Facility. She was a member of the Anna O. Young Chapter 28 of the Eastern Star. Visitation will be Tuesday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Tuesday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Wednesday, July 27th, 2011 at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Bob Norman officiating. The burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery.
